Terms & Conditions

  • You understand our reasoning for holding your telephone number/email address/any necessary personal data and are happy to be contacted by us personally when necessary. Please note NONE of your information will ever be passed on to any 3rd parties.

  • Your booking is not confirmed with us until booking form and booking fee/deposit have been received.

  • Your booking fee is a non-refundable deposit. Should you cancel your party or function with us, this booking fee will not be returned.

  • Your booking fee amount will be £20 for children’s birthday parties, or £50 for larger events.

  • If you need to swap your party or function date with us, with a minimum of 2 weeks notice, your booking fee can be transferred to the new date, but cannot be refunded. (Please note: your booking fee can only be transferred to a new date once at no extra cost.)

  • Once your invoice is issued, payment is due at least 24 hours prior to your event.

  • At your child’s birthday party or at your function/event, you are responsible for your guests and/or any children at the party. Knowing their whereabouts, ensuring health and safety for your guests, any injuries/accidents etc… is not part of the entertainer’s role.

  • SPARKLE BAR: It is your/your guests’ responsibility to make us aware of any reason why they shouldn’t have any of our cosmetic glitter/gems & jewels/ glitter tattoos applied. Such as allergens or sensitivity. We then have the right to advise whether or not our glitter should be applied. You/your guests use our Sparkle Bar and products at their own risk.

  • In the extremely unlikely case that we, The Dance N Party People, have to cancel a party, due to hazardous & extreme weather conditions or sickness, you will be given a full refund, including your booking fee.

  • Occasionally our staff will take some action shots, pictures and/or videos at parties and these may be used on our website/social media for promotional purposes. By filling in the booking form, you give us permission to do so. Please let us know if you do not wish for any photos to be taken at your event.

  • We aren’t able to guarantee a specific member of staff will be at your event, due to other bookings and potential sickness, but will always guarantee the staff present will be of a high standard, experienced and trained by The Dance N Party People.

  • PRIVATE LESSONS: Must be paid for in advance, once invoice has been issued.

  • PRIVATE LESSONS: If cancelled more than 24 hours in advance, will be issued a full refund or can be credited towards the next invoice. Lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will be chargeable at full rate and a refund will not be processed. Payment will not be credited towards an alternative date. This is because our teachers are all freelance performing arts teachers and will be not have time to arrange another lesson in its place with such little notice. This is also to ensure that cancellations do not occur regularly. Only in extreme circumstances or emergencies will this change.

  • All private lesson teachers, entertainers, dancers and glitter girls work on behalf of The Dance N Party People. If any further work is required, it must go through The Dance N Party People LTD and NOT directly through the them as individuals at any point. This includes any payments.

  • We will always do our best to make sure your party is exactly how you imagined and will ensure to only send fantastic, experienced party people to you!

Workshop Days/Camp/ Annual events!
 

Health and Safety
1. In the event of an emergency we will endeavour to contact the designated emerency contact number as soon as is reasonably possible. 

2. In the event that your child requires medical treatment in any emergency during his/her stay, we are entitled to act as we consider necessary. 

3. Students participate at their own risk and are obliged to inform us of any existing  injuries or medical condition on their booking form. 

4. We are entitled to use plasters, cleansing wipes and can support them in changing their clothes in the event of them becoming wet or soiled due to an accident unless stated otherwise on your booking form.

5. We will from time to time take photographs and film footage of students during class time to use for marketing and publicity material. If you do not wish for your child to be photographed/filmed please state this clearly on your booking form. 

6. We do not tolerate under any circumstances any antisocial behaviour, bullying, exclusion or any other behaviour that is deemed disruptive to the other children or staff. If your child is showing signs of the behaviour described, you will be telephoned and your child will not be able to attend anymore. You will not be refunded.

7. We reserve the right to exclude children from Camp at our discretion.

Liability.

The Dance N Party People/Showstoppers Camps are by their very nature not absolutely free from hazard. TDNPP/Showstoppers makes every effort to minimise risk to participants. TDNPP/Showstoppers only accepts liability for physical injury to a participant that is shown to result from negligence on the part of TDNPP/Showstoppers. You acknowledge that other loss, damage and expense (including without limitation, loss of money, loss or damage to clothes and possessions, losses arising on the cancellation of a booking and the expenses of delay and the harm caused other than by negligence of TDNPP/Showstoppers) however arising is not the responsibility of TDNPP/Showstoppers and TDNPP/Showstopper’s liability is hereby limited.  

Cancellation & Other Circumstances
1. If you need to cancel your child’s place up to 14 days before the Workshop Day/Camp, you will be given a 100% refund minus a £10 admin fee.
2. If you need to cancel your child’s place within the 14 days prior to the Workshop Day/Camp you will be given a 50% refund minus a £10 admin fee.
3. If you need to cancel your child’s place once Workshop Day/Camp has already started there will be no refund given.

4. In the unlikely event that the Camp has to cancel the event before it commences then any costs already paid by the Client will be refunded in full.
5. Only in exceptional circumstances such as bereavement of an immediate family member (Parent or Sibling) will you be entitled to a full refund. This does not include ailments, injuries or choosing not to continue the camp for personal reasons.
6. We do not accept swapping another child in your child's place for any reason. This is due to security reasons and the fairness of our waiting list.

7. If you miss one or more workshop day/camp day due to a holiday, special occasion, or your child becomes unwell, the day will not be refunded.
